  State Journal Register, December 13, 1986 Ruth Dozier VanBlair, 76, of Springfield died at 2:05 a.m. Friday at Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. VanBlair was born on Oct. 26, 1910, in Pawnee, the daughter of Charles W. and Daisy A. Shively Dozier. Preceding her in death were her husband Thomas, in 1959; and five brothers, Frank, Roy, Ralph, Woodrow and Thomas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Surviving are one brother, Albert Dozier of Morrisonville; one sister, Margaret Sprague of Springfield. Services at Bisch Memorial Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
