Reba Catherine Heavrin Greenwell, 76, Union Star, died Jan 10, 2005, at the Medco Center, Hardinsburg. She was born Jan 12, 1928, the daughter of Bernard Spaulding and Cecilia Ruth Heavrin Hardesty. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Janet Robbins, and a sister, Dorothy Barr.
Mrs Greenwell is survived by her husband, Edward Leon Greenwell, Union Star; 7 children, Judy Dieckman and Jean Oelze, both of Hardinsburg, Joyce Hanba, Diane Conner and Lisa Foster, all of Tell City, Indiana, William Bill Greenwell, Dale, Indiana, and Leona Wade, Falls of Rough; 4 sisters, Anna Pearl Carrico, Louisville, Lorine Barr, Payneville, Norma Redmon, Shepherdsville, and Edna Popham, Rhodelia; 21 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Jan. 12 from St. Theresa Catholic Church, Rhodelia, with Rev. Robert Abel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
