      Opal Gordon, 98, of Redding died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at her residence.

      Private services will be held.

      Born Jan. 31, 1907, in Missouri, she moved to Shasta County in 1989 from Los Angeles.

      She was -- molding press operator in the aerospace industry.

      Survivors include son Dick MaCoy of San Francisco; daughters Mary Tetreault and Merna Leckey, both of Redding; brother Bill Speak of Bella Vista, Ark.; sisters Ruth Kiltz of Everett, Wash., and Verna Burgess of Grand Junction, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
