  Washington Post, October 26, 2007 SPEAKES RALPH R. SPEAKES On Saturday, October 20, 2007, at the age of 81, long-time resident of Greenbelt, Maryland. Beloved father of Irene Speakes and Robin Marshall (Ray). Also survived by his brother, Alfred Speakes; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Libby Speakes and his six siblings. A Memorial Service will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 10 am. Interment private.
