- May Oswalt Flora, 85, of rural Flora, died at her home, Thurs-July 18, 2013, at 12:15pm. She was born Mar 24, 1928 in Darke Co., OH, to the late Glen Dale & Hettie Susan Bower Oswalt. Her marriage was to Lloyd Ivan Flora on May 10, 1952 in Darke Co., OH, and he preceded her in death on Jan 11, 2012.
She attended school in Darke Co., OH, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Old Brethren German Baptist Church. She and her husband helped with the planning and co-hosted the "Neighborhood Picnic" for over 30 years, sometimes at their farm. May dearly loved all of her family. Her kind gentle way made those around her better people, and her everlasting smile is one that those who knew her, will truly miss. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, and reunited with her husband, and all her family & friends that preceded her.

Preceded in death by 2 granddaughters Crystal & Rebecca, great-grandson Travis, 2 sisters, 1 brother.
Services: Friends may call Saturday from 1-4 & 5-9pm at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church near Camden. Funeral service there Sunday 10am, by the church officiating brethren. Burial at Musselman Cemetery-Camden.
