  News-Enterprise, December 3, 2014 Velva Jean Stewart, 86, of Stephensburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Signature Healthcare. She was a native of Breckinridge County, a member of College Heights United Methodist Church and was active with the Homemakers. She was the owner of Stewart's Grocery Store in Stephensburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Stewart; parents, Dannie and Irene Tuttle Quiggins; a brother, Myrle Quiggins; and a sister, Margaret Helen Langley. Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Roger) Huter of Louisville; granddaughter, Anne Stewart (Dane) Little of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and great-granddaughter, Brighton Ash Little. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Adam Sparks officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
