      Mrs. Oda Mae Stockman, 81, wife of Frederic J. Stockman, died at her residence on West South Street on Monday afternoon after a lengthy illness. She was born in Frederick County the daughter of the late Edward and Anna C. S. Barger Veirtz. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Lovelace, this city; Mrs. Grayson J. Haller, Frederick, one sister Mrs. Vallie Compher, Church Hill, one granddaughter Mrs. Donald Gerrick, California. Mrs. Stockman was a member of the Grace Reformed United Church of Christ and the Faithful Bible Class. Friends may call at the funeral home, 106 East Church Street after 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Joseph H. Clem, pastor of the Grace Reformed United Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
