Stanford, July 11 - Harry Richard Faulkner, 38, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Cumberland Lake of a heart attack while on water skis. He was the owner and manager of Stanford Wood Products, makers of store fixtures.
He was a member of the Stanford Methodist church, Rotary Club, and the state Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Sandidge Faulkner; a son, Harry Richard Jr., at the home; father, Eugene Faulkner, Danville; four brothers, Vernon, Stamford, Roy, Brownsville, Texas, Glenn, Lexington, and Jimmy Faulkner, Nicholasville; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Reed, Orleans, Ind.; Mrs. Glen Sowder, Liberty and Mrs. Hobart Gooch, Danville.
Pallbearers will be Joe Petus, Dr. Howard Frisby, Eugene Jacobs, Randall Leach, Neal Goodman, Joe Gilliland, Cabell Francis and Ernest Baxter.
The body was removed from the Beazley and Raney Funeral Home to the residence today.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. (CDT) Friday by the Rev. Elmore Ryle, the Rev. Allen E. Smith, and the Rev. Darrell Hoyle.
