      Ruth A. Hall, 91, Avon, IL passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She was born June 10, 1921, the daughter of John and Jesse Taylor Lund. She married Robert Miller, who later died in World War II; she then married Delbert Hall in April 1949.

      Ruth is survived by her daughters Sally (Ron) Hoy of Onarga, Jean (Charles G.) Cameron of Ellisville and Peggy (Jim) Simpson of Marthasville, Mo; sons Gary (Un Chong)Hall of Edgewood, Wash., and David Hall of Oklahoma City, Okla; stepsons Rodger (Sherry) Hall of Knoxville and Leon (Debbie) Hall of Crystal Lake; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, a sister, and a son (Marvin Hall).

      Graveside service will be Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. in East Midway Cemetery, London Mills; family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Corman Memorial Home, Avon. Pastor Don Miller of Coal Creek Bible Church is offciating. Memorials may be made to Avon Methodist Church. Please sign the online guestbook at www.cormanmh.com.
