George D. Mentzer, 56, of Lovettsville died July 17 at Loudoun Hospital. He was a son of the late David and Maude Virts Mentzer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Mentzer of the home, and eight children, Mrs. Alma Misenheimer of Forrestville, Md., Mrs. Joyce Jackson of Leesburg, Mrs. Thelma Graham of Arlington, George Mentzer of Arlington, James Mentzer of Landover, Md. and Shirley, Delbert and Perry Mentzer all at home. He also leaves a sister, Miss Mae Mentzer of Lovettsville. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
