- Mrs. Betsy Mae Pizark, 85, of Westville, died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital, Michigan City.
She was born Aug. 30, 1921, in Wanatah to Harvey and Elizabeth (Howell) Speaks.
Mrs. Pizark had retired as a machine operator at the former Eastmoor Manufacturing in Michigan City. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Otis and Rebekah Lodge.
On Sept. 24, 1966, in New Buffalo, Mich., she married Edward H. Pizark, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Wicks and Linda (Kenneth) Duszynski, both of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; one son, Ronald (Shana) Keller of Michigan City; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
One son, Daniel H. Keller, and one sister, Virginia Buell, preceded her in death.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Otis, with Rev. John Zemelko officiating. There will be no visitation. Entombment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Newhard Funeral Home, Westville, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
