Bessie Virginia Bolyard, 95, of Tunnelton, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. She was born in Tunnelton on Feb. 4, 1914, a daughter of the late James H. and Alice M. Cline Myers. She was a homemaker, a member of Christian Fellowship Chapel in Tunnelton, and the Tunnelton Senior Center. She was a 1932 graduate of Tunnelton High. She is survived by one son and spouse, Wilbert and Naoma Kay Bolyard, of Tunnelton; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Bolyard, and Nathan, and spouse, Carolyn Bolyard; three great-grandchildren and spouses, Greg and Melissa Bolyard, Patrick Bolyard, and Lori and Wesley Haught; four stepgreat-grandchildren and spouses, Deb and Glenn Rosson, Lisa and Greg McDonald, Scott and Wendy Williams, and Polly Williams; two great-greatgrandchildren, Lillian Bolyard and Peyton [Joy] Bolyard; one nephew, Arthur Myers, and spouse, Fifi; one niece, Lena Weaver, and husband, Donald; several other nieces and nephews; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton Bolyard, in 1969; one brother, Everett Myers; and a sister-in-law, Josephine Myers. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery in Tunnelton.
