Mrs. Leah Elizabeth Mentzer, aged 58, wife of Perry C. Mentzer died at her home near Lovettsville Saturday from a streptococci infection of the larynx. She was a daughter of the late John Samuel and Lydia Everhart Arnold of Loudoun County. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Shumaker and Mrs. George Baker and two brothers, C. W. Arnold and John Arnold all of the Lovettsville District. Interment was in the Union Cemetery.
