  Obituary: Source unknown, July 16, 1961. John C. (Chris) Wertz, 75, retired vice president of the Bank of Douglas (now known as Arizona Bank) died Friday in Tucson hospital. He was the son of Abraham J. and Mary J. Wertz. Surviving are his wife, Annie Mae Wertz, of Tucson, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Brooks of Chico, Calif.; a niece Mrs. Dorothy Jones of Montana, and a nephew Billy Wertz. Interment was in the family plot in Masonic cemetery.
