Mrs. Nellie May Andrews, 67, mother of Mrs. Ilo Hutslar and grandmother of Donald
Hutslar, both of Yellow Springs, died at her home on the former I. S. Dines farm, two
miles northeast of Xenia, Sunday noon. She had been ill of complications for a year
preceding her death. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the
Nagley Funeral Home Xenia, with burial in Massie's Creek Cemetery. Final rites were
conducted by Rev. H. H. Abels of Cedarville. Mrs. Andrews, daughter of George and
Mary Swank Baker, was born in Loudoun County, Virginia, moving with her parentss
to Greene County in 1881. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Cedarville.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters; Mrs. Ilo Hutslar, Yellow Springs; Mrs.
Rosie Zartman, Xenia, and Miss Dorothy Andrews, at home; a grandson, Donald
Hutslar, Yellow Springs; sister, Miss Lillie Baker, Xenia; a brother, Edgar Baker,
Wilmington; and two nephews, William and Burton Baker, former Xenians, serving
in the U. S. Armed Forces.
