Mildred Magaha Simpson, 85, of Purcellville, died June 15 in the Loudoun Health Center. A native of Lovettsville, Mrs. Simpson retired from Loudoun County Public Schools after many years of service. Survivors include one step-daughter, Mary Lloyd of Winchester; four stepsons, David Simpson of Hamilton, Charles Simpson of Mountain City, Tenn., Joe Simpson of Winchester and Ashby Simpson of Charles Town, W.Va.; one brother, George Virts of Lovettsville; and one granddaughter. A memorial service was conducted June 18 in the Hall Funeral Home of Purcellville. Interment was private. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 261, Hamilton, VA 22068.
