Mrs. Susan M. Parker, 86, widow of John Parker, died Saturday at 9:30 p.m. in the home of her son, J. Rollen Parker, 600 Cedar pike, following three weeks illness.
Born April 5, 1857, in Fallsbury township, she was the daughter of Henry and Martha (Tarman) Wince. Her husband died 11 years ago and she is survived by four sons, Theodore Parker of Wilkins Corners, William A. of Portland, Ore., Melvin G. Parker of Newark and J. Rollen Parker of the home. A stepdaughter, Mrs. Cora Mount, died 10 years ago. Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Parker was the last of a family of 10 children.
The deceased was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the home with Rev. A. Dale Fiers officiating. Burial will be made in Barnes cemetery. Funeral directors, Criss Brothers.
