      Treva L. Wince, 86, a resident of Jefferson Township in Whitley County, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 3, 2001) at her home. Mrs. Wince, a graduate of Washington Center High School in Whitley County, worked as a clerk at the former Woolworth's department store in Huntington for several years. She was also an Avon representative for more than 20 years. She attended the Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Jefferson Township Home Extension Club. She was a former member of Ruth Rebekah Lodge. She was born July 24, 1914 in Whitley County, a daughter of August E. and Adelia P. Hertsel Juillerat. She married Harold W. Wince Jan. 1, 1938; her husband survives. Additional survivors include a son, Kenneth G. Wince of Roanoke, and a brother Virgil Juillerat of Huntington. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Marilyn Wince; a brother , Clarence Juillerat; and an infant sister, Edna Juillerat. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith and Sons funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Richard Knarr will officiate. Burial will be at Jefferson Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitley Humane Society or Whitley Home Health Care and Hospice.
