Mrs. Blanche Virts Mansfield, 93, of Reeders Nursing Home, Boonesboro, a former resident of Brunswick, who resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Louise F. and William K. Weddle, 416 Birmingham Dr., Frederick, died Sunday, Oct. 2, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. Born April 26, 1895, Hillsborough, Va., Mrs. Mansfield was a daughter of the late Charles and Sally Connor Coffman. She was predeceased by two husbands, Edgar H. Virts in 1939, and Martin L. Mansfield in 1980. Mrs. Mansfiled was a former employee with the YMCA in Brunswick. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick and was the oldest living charter member of the Women of Moose, Brunswick. Surviving are two daughters, Louis F. Weddle of Frederick, Ethel Burnett of Fort Stanford, Texas, one son George L. Virts of Baltimore; one sister, Margaret Riley of Sykesville; one brother Monroe Coffman of Leesburg, Va. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville.
