Mrs. Cora E. Wilt, wife of John W. Wilt, of near Point of Rocks, died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at the Frederick City Hospital after a short illness, aged 55 years. Besides her husband, the following children survive: Mrs. Virginia Shoemaker, Silver Spring; William W. Wilt and George H. Wilt, Point of Rocks; Mrs. Maude Heffner, Brunswick; Theodore W., Millard E., Roy S., Boyd T., Carey E. and Hampton H. Wilt, all at home. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. George Hawes, two brothers, Richard Hawes, Point of Rocks, and Charles R. Hawes of Buckeystown, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Peacock, of Washington, and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral took place form the late home Monday at noon, with interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery this city. C. H. Feet and Sons, Brunswick, funeral directors.
