John Richard Adam Virts, retired railroad engineer, died Friday morning at 1:15 o'clock at his residence, 321 Maple avenue, Brunswick aged 75 years. He was a native of Loudoun County, Virginia being a son of the late Joseph H. and Sarah Virts. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church Brunswick and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He is survived by four children, Joseph H. New York City, Stanley E. Weaverton, Vanie Veon Virts and Mrs. Catherine Sitlang, Brunswick a brother George L. Virts Lovettsville, and a sister Mrs. Rose Nicewarner, Lovettsville. Funeral Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Bethany Lutheran church, with services conducted by Rev. John C. Stuff. Interment in Park Heights cemetery. J. S. Dailey, funeral director.
