In Wesson Memorial Hospital, February 29, Captain Frank J. Staffelli of 523 Laurel St. Longmeadow. Commanding Officer of Squad C of the Springfield Police Department. Former Captain of detectives. Beloved husband of Claire M. (Horrigan) Staffelli. Father of Mrs. Anita Hacket. Step-father of Mark P., Stephen A., and C. William Gasque and grandfather of Debbie m. and Laurie A. DeBarge, Diane L. and Dennis L. Hackett Jr. Funeral from the Chapel of the Acres Funeral Home, 21 Tinkham Rd. Springfield. Thursday morning at 8:30 followed by solemn liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Michales Cathedral at 10. Captain Staffelli will be accorded full Police Department honors with motorcycle detail and a large marching squad. Burial in St. Michaels Cemetery. Visiting hours 7 to 9 pm Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday. A. Sampson Service.
