- Funeral services for Mr. Ronald E. "Ron" Adams, age 73 of Delta, will be Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Turk Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Delta Community Cemetery.
Mr. Adams passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at his home.
He was a native of Cumberland, Maryland, a former resident of Painesville, Ohio; a graduate of Riverside High School and also attended Lakeland Community College. Mr. Adams worked as a journeyman/electrician since 1968 and was a member of the IBEW Local 673. He and his wife moved to Clay County, in early 2000 where the operated Heart of Dixie Alpaca's in Delta and raised cattle.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hendershot Adams of Delta; two daughters: Michelle Kay Adams (fianc? Jonathan McFadden) of Madison, Ohio and Beverly Ann Adams (fianc? Lewis DeSalvo) of Harpersfield, Ohio; one granddaughter, Ashley Nicole McFadden of Madison, Ohio and one sister, Norma Jean Adams Trexler (Ronnie) of Madison, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Ishmiel Adams and Kathleen Nicewarner Adams.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Clarke, Stanley Clarke, Gene Miller, Chase Miller, Steve Simmons and Donnie Daugherty.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.
