    • DELRAY, W.Va. - Thomas L. Virts, 62, of Delray, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at his home.

      Born Jan. 19, 1946, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Lewis R. Virts and Edna Bowman Virts.

      He was a former supervisor at Shockey Co.

      He was of the Protestant faith.

      He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sonya A. Virts; one daughter, Laura Fisher; one sister, Betsy Johnston of Slanesville, W.Va.; two brothers, Jack Virts and Robert Virts, both of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; and one granddaughter.

      Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Rev. Eric Bridges will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

      The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
