      Fred (Pat) Sink, 85, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Pat was a dairy farmer and a life long member of the Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen Henry and Lydia Layman Sink; and an infant sister, Shirley Elizabeth Sink. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Marlyn Flora Sink; five children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother; daughter, Teresa Agnew and husband Joseph H. Agnew, Blacksburg; grandson, Randall Guilliams and wife Sara Guilliams; great-grandchildren, Ashton Cox and Haylee Guilliams, Simpsonville, S.C.; son, Terry Sink and wife Linda Sink, Blacksburg; daughter, Jane Hudgins and husband Rev. Jeff Hudgins; grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Hudgins, Richmond; son, Ben Sink and wife Jill Sink; grandchildren, Carolanne and Melody Sink and foster daughters, Anastasia and Ashley, Wirtz; daughter, Joanna Sink, Rocky Mount; brother, Curtis L. Sink and wife Elene Flora Sink, Rocky Mount and their children, Glen and Diane Sink, Richmond, Don and Peggy Sink, Rocky Mount, Steve Henry and Susan Sink, Riner, Jean and Michael Chitwood, Chapel Hill, N.C.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Mildred (Polly) Flora, Bennie and Ruth Flora, Rocky Mount, Charles N., Jr. and Inez Flora, Roanoke; many special nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to Dr. Stephen Rosenoff and Carilion Hospice Services of Franklin County; his loving and dedicated caregivers, Jane Burgess, Anne Lynch, Angela Huston, Deana Ackerman and Jane Austin. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Bruce Huffman and the Rev. Jeff Hudgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Renovation Project of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, 2312 Brick Church Road, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
