Charles William Fawley, 86, Myersville died Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. He was the husband of Creola Mae Cline Fawley.
Born in Lovettsville, VA on March 7, 1931 he was a son of the late Ralph W. Fawley and Mildred Pauline Tritapoe Fawley Webber. Mr. Fawley was a retired master plumber and had been employed with Bill King, Kenneth Clipp Plumbing Companies and retired as a plumbing inspector with Frederick county. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Myersville, B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 684 and the Frederick County Master Plumbers Association.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters Sharon Ann Folden and husband Ralph and Deborah Kay Wise and husband Roger C. Simmons both of Myersville, four grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Wise (Christian Fogle), Nathan Charles Wise (Jessica), Erin Elizabeth Neuland (Andre), Matthew Allen Folden (Jennifer), seven great-grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Wise, Riley Shea Wise, Cecelia Kay Wise, Hayden Charles Wise, Grace Amelia Neuland, Henry Lennox Folden, Oliver Jack Folden, four sisters, Frances P. Gaver, Bonita Springs, FL, Mary Catherine Cashour (Ed), Braddock Hgts., Shirley Ann Grove (David), Frederick and Patsy A. Smith (Gerry), Frederick.
He was predeceased by a brother Ralph E. Fawley.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 16 from 6 to 8 PM the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Monday July 17 from St. Johns Lutheran Church, Church Hill ,Myersville. Rev. David Howell will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Myersville.
